Do you remeber Jolla ? The company that was formed by ex-Nokia employees ? Well, it held the launch event of the Sailfish OS. Video preview below.
It has a nice looking UI no doubt from that. Promises some good multi-tasking too. As to the apps you'll have no problem as most Android apps will work on it without any extra modifications needed.
The company has already signed with ST-Ericisson for the chipsets that will power their smartphones and 'DNA', a Finnish carrier to distribute them.
Seems promising and I'm a bit looking forward too. Well, lets see what Jolla has to offer us when they launch an actual smartphone.
